Paralegal Program

Career training loans are offered for qualified borrowers
in the form of Career Training Loans from a variety of lenders.

Once you have been admitted to the program, you may want to apply for a loan for your tuition. Please apply as soon as possible. It can take up to six weeks to approve and process your loan and receive your check.

Student loans are available to qualified applicants through two loan companies, Sallie Mae and Wells Fargo Education ConnectionSM Career Loan. Apply online for the Sallie Mae Smart Loan or call 1-888-272-5543. Apply online for the Wells Fargo Education Connection Career Loan at www.wellsfargo.com/student.

Tuition is due in full by the registration payment deadline. However, students seeking student loans will be allowed to attend class pending receipt of the loan check if a loan preapproval has been received and a nonrefundable deposit of $150 is paid to UTSA on or before the registration payment deadline. The deposit amount will be deducted from the tuition owed. It is your responsibility to insure that payment for your tuition has been made to UTSA.

You may also wish to ask your employer to reimburse all or a portion of the tuition for your program. While this alternative may not be available in all cases, click here for some tips on investigating your options.

To discuss your loan options with a UTSA representative, please contact Arianna Duggan by email at arianna.duggan@utsa.edu or by phone at (210) 458-7420.
